The most basic aim of the MRC is to foster collaborative, international, and interdisciplinary scholarship on melodrama.

To help enable the formation of research networks, we are preparing a membership directory searchable by location, institution, discipline, and areas of specialization.

To help members and interested scholars locate centers of interest, we intend to prepare an atlas of melodrama scholarship and a listing of regional and institutional groups and clusters of scholars. If you would like to add a listing, or to assist with the atlas, please let us know.

To help members seeking assistance or collaboration on particular projects, we intend to add a queries and announcements column to the home page. When it appears, please do not hesitate to make use of it.

We welcome assistance with these projects, and we invite proposals for other resources we might provide.
